Sly Guy Reporting for Duty. Another Great Day in Branson!
After filling the guys up with a breakfast to remember at the local breakfast buffett, we decided to be creative and do some workouts in the pool. It started with guys arriving early and trying to perfect their cannon balls. Mario's infamous side ways cannon ball had the biggest splash followed by Nate's belly flop. After that, we got to business and had the guys do our regular three lane running but it seemed to be more challenging in the water. After a good stretch, we then got to some relay races that were very interesting. Guys who couldn't swim found ways to improvise by using the wall like a catapult. This then became an all out war as our guys competitive fire would take over. Some of the relays included running down and back with no swimming, lining up and pulling your teammate down the line to the end, backwards swimming, and ended with a free style swim. Who would have thought that our non-swimmers would win the competition hands down. The other two groups didn't agree with the results and that led to an all out splashing contest that sent the coaches and assist-staff running for cover. Another great moment in Branson, MO.

Day 2 concluded
Just got back from the Dixie stampede and it was the first time I got to eat with my hands without any hesitation. Got to see animals like piglets, bulls and horses race around the courtyard. It was defiantly something I have never done and would do it a second time. I will keep you updated tomorrow.
Day 2 continued.....
Had another excellent day of practice. The Branson elementary students got to watch us practice and were in awe of what we were able to do. After practice we got the chance to have some relaxing time and walk through the nearby outlet mall. Finally off to the Dixie Stampede for the NAIA tournament banquet. Check up with us later tonight...

First Official Day in Branson
Hey world! This is James Humphrey and this is my first entry. After an early wake up and a great breakfast at a local buffet, We took a journey to the Talking Rock Tavern. The Tavern is a cave that was found over 100 years ago. After a brief history lesson, we journeyed down into the cave down a narrow concrete stairway. The tour guide described every aspect of the cave including the random christmas tree hanging from the cave's roof. After getting to the bottom and seeing a couple salamanders, we left the caves to go to our first practice. We practiced at a local elementary school for an hour, while a few little kids that were still scurrying around the school watched. After practice we went to Famous Dave's Barbecue. The food was EXCEPTIONAL!! It wasn't my first time to Famous Dave's, but i still loved it nonetheless. After that we took a trip to see the Baldknobbers show. It was definitely a culture shock! Overall, today was a very busy and productive day. Well, its getting late, so i'll talk to you guys later! DU BABY!!!

Going Underground
Just got back from an adventure through the Talking Rock Cavern and went as low as 100 feet below the earth. It was amazing to see the water from the past years run down the rocks that look like bacon strips in the cave. Had a fun competition to see what pair of players could get through a maze the fastest. We will update you in a few hours!

We Made it to BRANSON!
Hey everybody,
After a looooooong bus ride (14 hours over 2 days!!), we finally made it to Branson, Missouri! We've been having a great time already! Last night we stayed in St. Louis at an amazing hotel that even had its own mall. It was nice to get off the bus and stretch our legs and get some food and relax. It's really crazy how tired riding in a bus can make a person feel.
Today, before we headed out to Branson, our whole team went up in the Arch in downtown St. Louis. Amazing views!! From 632 feet up, you can really see for miles and miles. The people on the ground look so small from that high. We won't name names, but some of the guys were more excited to go up than others (COACH DAVIDSON!)
We got to eat dinner at Lambert's-- Home of the Throwed Rolls -- . They literally throw rolls straight out of the oven at you. So good! It's impossible to leave Lambert's hungry!
So, we are here in Branson. We have a lot planned for the week, and Javontae Ford and James Humphrey will keep all of you Panther fans updated throughout each day! Thanks for following us and cheering us on!! GO PANTHERS!!!
